What is a Secret Show?

A Secret Show is an intimate live gig featuring Mike Peyton performing his original songs to a small audience. It's a more personal live music experience — close-up, intimate and all about the songs.
When and where is the show?

The date and city are announced in advance. The exact venue is kept secret and revealed to ticket holders 24 hours before the show.
Why is the venue a secret?

That's part of the experience. The Secret Shows are about getting away from the usual pubs and venues and experiencing live music somewhere a little different.
When will I receive the venue details?

You'll receive the exact venue address by email 24 hours before the show. Make sure you enter an email address you check regularly when booking.
How much are tickets?

Pay what you can. There is no fixed ticket price — you choose what you'd like to contribute.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. Every ticket includes a free plus-one. Bring a friend, partner or anyone else you'd like to share the experience with.
How many people will be at the show?

The shows are deliberately kept intimate, with a limited number of places available.
What kind of music will you play?

The shows focus on Mike's original music, combining Irish folk, indie rock and country influences, with songs about home, drinking, growing up, leaving Ireland and life away from home.
Do I need to know the songs?

Not at all. You don't need to be a fan already. Come along, hear the songs live and discover something new.
Is this a normal pub gig?

No. The Secret Shows are specifically designed to be different from Mike's regular pub performances — smaller, more intimate and centred around the original songs.
Is the show seated or standing?

We aim to have the show be seated but this depends on the venue. You'll receive all the information you need when the venue is revealed 24 hours before the show.
What if I can't make it?

You can request a full refund up to 7 days before the show.

If you can no longer attend within 7 days of the show, you can transfer your place to someone else. Just get in touch and let us know.

What if the show is cancelled?

If the show is cancelled or significantly changed by us, you'll receive a full refund.
What if I only paid a small amount?

That's absolutely fine. Tickets are pay what you can, so you choose the amount you're comfortable contributing. The same refund policy applies regardless of the amount you paid.
What should I bring?

Just yourself — and whoever you're bringing as your free plus-one. You'll receive all the important information, including the venue and arrival details, by email before the show.
